PROBATE ADMINISTRATION

Helping families navigate a probate administration following the loss of a loved is some of the work that Brendan T. King finds most gratifying. Brendan enjoys advising clients in all aspects of probate and estate administrations, serving as counsel to the executor, administrator, family and beneficiaries during the exacting administration and distribution of a decedent’s estate. In addition, Brendan works with banks and bank trust departments to serve as their counsel during the administration of an estate. Brendan’s probate court practice also includes guardianships, name-changes, and wrongful death related matters.

ESTATE PLANNING

The estate planning portion of Brendan’s practice allows him to regularly advise individuals, as well as young families, married couples, and business owners with the drafting of a practical estate plan to meet their specific needs. In handling estate planning, Brendan meets and gets to know his clients to generate the best plan possible for their needs. Every client and every situation requires different treatment because every client is unique. This often includes disability planning, as well as planning for death and the efficient transfer of assets, through the use of living trusts, powers of attorney and titling of accounts.

REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS

Brendan assists buyers and sellers of real estate as they work through the contract for sale or purchase, as well as the financing, contracting, and escrow processes.
